Iced Filter (HarioV60)

Iced Filter V60

Summer is here and with it the heat that makes us all sweat. But don't worry, we have the perfect solution to cool down while maintaining our caffeine levels: iced filter coffee!

Iced filter coffee, prepared using the V60 method, in particular, has become increasingly popular in recent years. But what is iced filter coffee and how can you make it at home?

Iced filter coffee is basically a cold filter coffee served with ice cubes. Cold brewing the coffee creates a full-bodied yet refreshing taste. The V60 method is perfect for making iced filter coffee as it offers a crisp and clean taste.

  1. Use fresh coffee beans and grind them fresh. The grind should be medium-fine.

  2. Insert the filter into the V60 and rinse it with hot water to remove any paper taste.

  3. Add the ground coffee beans to the filter and pour them into a pitcher.

  4. Now slowly and evenly pour hot water over the coffee to brew it. You should use about twice the amount of water compared to the amount of coffee.

  5. Let the coffee brew for a few minutes and then stir it.

  6. Put ice cubes in a glass and pour the coffee over it.

  7. Refine the taste as desired with milk, sugar or syrup.

That's it! You have prepared your own iced filter coffee using the V60 method. The result is a refreshing yet full-bodied coffee experience that will accompany you perfectly through the summer.

So, what are you waiting for? Try it yourself and enjoy your homemade iced filter coffee using the V60 method. We are sure you will love it!
