We are delighted to share our new Colombia Don Pablo with you. What is new is above all the region it comes from, which we deliberately chose in order to maintain its full cup profile of red apple, vanilla, caramel and butter biscuit . The Quindío region is located in the west-central region of the country, which is crossed by the Andes. The mountainous landscape is covered with tropical rainforests and Guadua bamboo forests. The soil is enriched by old volcanic eruptions, which ensure fertile soils . 23,000 hectares of the Quindío region are planted with coffee. Washed coffees are the most common processing method with fermentation times of between 12 and 36 hours . The coffees are dried on terraces or dry beds. The Quindío region has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO due to its cultural coffee landscape.
